My dad

My dad Leonard Salzedo was a composer and I really like his music

So much so that last year for the Centenary of his birth I made a film Leonard Salzedo A Life Composed in Music which is on YouTube

Leonard Salzedo Centenary plus One Celebration Concert on Saturday 24th September 2022 6pm at Conway Hall, 25 Red Lion Square, London, WC1R 4RL

This year I’m organising a Concert of his music in London with the help of friends from the Leonard Salzedo Society and some brilliant musicians! Buy tickets here

The journey of the Centenary plus One Celebration Concert

The concert will take you on a trip from the Open University via a Tango and a Lotus Eater to the Sephardic Jews of 15th Century Spain and showcases his vast musical legacy with a wide range of his works including the Divertimento for Three Trumpets and Three Trombones (the Open University theme for many years), piano pieces, songs, and his viola concerto.

I’ll write more about all the pieces and the artists in the months leading up to the concert. See the full programme and buy tickets here

The Concert is promoted by the Leonard Salzedo Society, a registered charity no 1186206. Join the Leonard Salzedo Society here
